The only crocodiles to be found in the area around the Rubber House: these ones I found in a hardware shop in Kanifing. Amongst the hideous locks and door handles ( fake gold on plastic are really not my taste), sometimes there are nice things to be found. And very practical things too, if you have an eye for them. I found some really big and strong shutter locks to lock the doors, windows and mosquito shutters with. They are similar to these and I decided to buy a whole lot of them. The owner was so happy that finally somebody was interested, that he had somebody run over to the other shop he ownes, to bring the rest of them over. I forgot to take a picture, but they give the house a nice, robust touch.
