This shop in Serrekunda has some good paint, as I was told. It took a little effort to get there. On a very hot and busy day, going to Serrekunda is quite a trip sometimes, with the heavy traffic around Westville. So when we finally got there, it was great to find some nice chairs, friendly people and no costumers around. And the best of it all: airconditioning! Yeeha! We sat down to pick our paint on the walls, while cooling down and having an orange that we bought in the street. Lovely. We must have been there for almost half an hour, until one of the shop assistants politely came over to us to say that they were closed. “Huh? But, there were so many staff members, so..?”  The assistant told us they were doing the inventory and re-stocking and that he was very sorry he couldn’t help us. He could have thrown us out right away, but no. That’s  not the Gambian way; while you’re here, enjoy your stay…
